Rode our bicycles completely around the island of Djurgården today. Got lost and ended up on the mainland, so ended up riding about 10 kilometers total. Beautiful day, sunny and about 70 degrees. Nice dinner and an early night.

Stockholm day 3
Went to the Museum of Modern Art, and had a fantastic lunch. The view from the museum balcony is stunning. Alternating rain and sun gave the sky a dramatic flavor. Rode a water bus, sort of like a land bus, going from stop to stop. Evening was spent in a tiny jazz club called the Glen Miller Cafe
.

Bergen
Spent most of the day aboard a tiny ship on a 4 hour tour. The ship went up the Osterfjord, which passes Bergen on the way to the North Sea. A beautiful sunny warm day in Western Norway.
Oslo to Bergan
Oslo day 3
Visited the Oslo City Hall, plus the Norway’s Resistance Museum. Later went to the Astrup Fearnley Museum.. Dinner and then retired fairly early.
Oslo day 2
Both feeling a bit under the weather today (Bjørklund’s revenge?), but rebounded well and visited the Oslo Domkirke. There was a massive free concert at the harbor near City Hall that we attended. Must have been 50,000 people there. Very exciting. Pop music, video is of a Reggae bad. Norwegian Reggae, who knew. Afterwards we ducked into a cafe to watch the crowd surge around us.
Oslo day 1
Arrived by boat, coming up the Oslo fjord in the morning. Quite spectacular. Spent part of the day ( as usual) getting oriented and learning the transport systems. Visited Nobel Peace Center which is quite impressive. Took a harbor tour on a boat that was rigged as a sailboat, passed the hugely impressive Oslo opera. Light dinner and meandering until 11PM, still daylight.
