LJP and I arrived after an overnight flight from DFW airport to Heathrow, a 10 hour flight. neither of us slept much on the plane so we are pretty beat up and tired. we have a lovely little apartment in the just North of Hyde Park. More tomorrow

I am heading for England tomorrow, 3/17/26 along with LJP.

This is the night before and I am testing out whether I can use this site for a travel journal, I have not used this space for a long time. can I post photos etc?

Stopped for lunch next to City Lights Bookstore, Laura got a hat and 2 books. She worried that previous posts depicted her as too dour, so this is more posed.

Next we stopped at a candy store to buy “gifts”. Found this sign there and thought it was funny.
