Got a late start on the day, hey it’s vacation. Visited Palais des Papes, a monumental gothic edifice. It took us most of the day. walked out on the bridge of Avignon, and had dinner in a very old part of town.

Lots of photos for a “late start”! Looks like you’re walking up and down hill a lot in the heat. Hope the temperature was under 95 on day 9! Desserts look yummy.

Dear Judith, Yes it was a hard day physically. That peach melba ice cream treat was thoroughly earned.
The photos are wondeirful. Gazing at each for 5-10 seconds almost makes me think I am looking at the buildings, scenes, etc. Thanks for a mini mental vacation!
