We are staying near the Place Masséna, in the old part of Nice (Vieux). Lazy day, still tired. Rainy but still beautiful.

Judith, I thought of you and Karen when I saw the sculpture of the woman asleep with a book on her lap and a colorful tree above her–the happiness of reading!
Tried leaving a comment earlier. Hope this works! Enjoy! I’m enjoying the photos. We’re enjoying France too, visiting friends and eating too much. I’ve gained at least 10 pounds! Tomorrow we leave Rouen for the Lot region.

Karen, Great to hear you and Bruce are enjoying yourselves. I have a theory that any weight gained in France is a beautiful addition.
